I didn’t actually “read” this book. The book was shared with me via YouTube.

The book That I am reviewing is called Sulwe. I chose this book because it is a really good book. Sulwe has really dark skin,darker than everybody in her family and darker than everybody at her school. Sulwe wants to be bright just like her sister and her mom, she wants to be called beautiful nicknames like sun. Then one night a star wakes Sulwe and takes her on a magical journey on how being dark is the most beautiful thing.

My favorite part is when Sulwe figures out that the color of her skin is beautiful! A lesson you can learn is to love what makes you different no matter what
