Hey Society Members!

Emmy in the Key of Code is a new book I got from my grandmother. I think coding is cool. After reading this book, I decided I might start using the online program Scratch to start coding again. This book isn't written with the usual chapters. I can't really describe how it's written. I didn't really like the book at first. But my mom made me keep reading.

Emmy in the Key of Code is about Emmy, a 12 year old girl, who is the only one in her family who can't make music. She has to move from Wisconsin to San Francisco because her dad got a new job. Now Emmy is having trouble making friends and finding where she belongs! Coding helps her meet new people.

My favorite part of the book is when Emmy finds new friends. A lesson you can learn from this book is that you should take risks.

I would you give this book 10/10

Have you read this book? If not, check it out and tell me what you think!

Happy Reading!
